Any

Ryan blames himself for what happened to Michael. As far as he's concerned, he doesn't deserve to have love or ever be happy again. Then he learns Michael left a secret behind. Review:
I really liked the story and it is something that I think a lot of high school kids should think about or really anyone. That you should not let friends who are under the influence of any type drive. Anne Pfeffer did a great job of making the characters believable and to write about something everyone can relate to.
Ryan and Michael were going to a birthday party for a girl from school Emily, that Ryan really liked. He wanted to get to her party early so that he could talk to her. Normally Ryan and Michael would have drove together but this time Ryan wanted to go alone. When he arrived at the party he didn't right away have a chance to talk with Emily. Michael showed up with another friend Chase who was bad news. They had been drinking and doing drugs and caused a scene. Ryan was trying to get Michael to go but wanted to say good bye to Emily. He left Michael for a short time and when he returned Michael was gone. Ryan checked with the valets to see if they had given Michael his keys and they had. Ryan traveled the route Michael would have and didn't see his car so he thought he had made it home safely.
The next day Michael didn't answer his phone and Ryan got a very weird feeling. He found out Ryan was in an accident and did not make it. Ryan blamed himself, he should have taken him home. He knew he was in no condition to drive. How does Ryan handle the lose? Does he continue to blame himself? What happens with Emily? You will need to read Any Other Night to find out how Ryan handles his friends death. It was a very good story and really makes you think. I think anyone from 16 + would like this story.
