Endagered Species Chocolate Review and Giveaway

There are a couple things I really love and that is chocolate ~ any kind of chocolate and I love animals. That is why I was so interested in reading and learning more about Endangered Species Chocolate.

Their Story:

Endangered Species Chocolate was born out of a desire to make an impact on the growing number of plant and animal species that are disappearing from Earth. With interests rooted in a deep love of chocolate making, Endangered Species Chocolate set out in 1993 to source natural, ethically traded chocolate as a carrier for an environmental message. Through the crafting of premium, thoughtfully sourced chocolate, Endangered Species Chocolate generates funds for conservation efforts worldwide.

“Why is your company called Endangered Species Chocolate?” We get that question a lot. See the sea turtles, chimpanzees, butterflies and rainforests on the face of our chocolate bar wrappers? Every time you purchase a bar, you raise support for species and habitats worldwide. Each year, Endangered Species Chocolate donates 10% of net profits to environmental non-profits that are focused on wildlife conservation and habitat preservation. Want to learn more about the species you are helping? Look inside each wrapper to learn more about the threatened species featured on your chocolate bar.

This year Endangered Species Chocolate is partnering with African Wildlife Foundation and The Xerces Society. African Wildlife Foundation, plays a major role in ensuring the continued existence of Africa's most rare and treasured species.

Each different flavor of chocolate bar has different information on the inside of the wrapper about the plight of a different species or cause. I was excited to receive 3 bars in the mail, and they included two of their news Natural Bars.  They are Dark Chocolate Sea Salt and the one I liked the best  Dark Chocolate with Cherry. I also received an old standby favorite Milk Chocolate.  I loved all three of the smooth great flavor chocolate bars.  The Dark Chocolate with Sea Salt had just the right about of sweet, bitter and salty.  I am sure you will find one that is your favorite too.

You can order Endangered Species Chocolate online but you can also find it in may local stores like New Seasons, Whole Foods, and even the Vitamin Shoppe.

Endangered Species Chocolate has agreed to give one of my readers an assortment of ESC chocolate valued at $25.00.  To win you must fill out the form below.  13+ live in the continental US. Also visit ESC and tell me what you think the best Chocolate Bar flavor is and follow Kaisy Daisy's Corner in at least one way.  Extra entries for each way you follow.  Contest ends Jan 30, 2013.  Good Luck!
