The Reluctant Bachelorette Review

The Reluctant Bachelorette by Rachael Anderson

Unknowingly cast as the bachelorette for her town’s charity event, Taycee Emerson wants out. Especially when she discovers her old teenage crush, Luke Carney, is one of the bachelors and it's up to the viewers--not her--to decide which bachelors stay or go.

Coerced into participating, Taycee does what any self-preserving girl would do. She launches a subtle attack on Luke’s good name with the hope of getting him voted off the show. Unfortunately, Luke's an eye-for-an-eye kind of guy, and when he discovers what she's up to, it means revenge.

But when their pranks go south, will they screw up any chance they have at a future together, or will they be able to forgive and forget and prove that love really does conquer all?

My Review:

Wow what a great book.  I loved this clean romance. Once I picked up the book I couldn't wait to find out what happens next.

Taycee was signed up to be the Bachelorette for a charity event to save the towns farms.  Her friend had arrange for her to date 20 men from across the US and one from her home town.  The one from her home town had broke her heart 10 years ago when he moved away and went to college.  He had just recently come back to town.

It was fun going on the dates with Taycee.  Some of her dates were very humorous and each one a bit different.  I felt sorry for her having to go on 21 dates the first few weeks and knew how tired she must be. I think I would find it hard to be nice to all of them, but Taycee was nice to them all.  She had no choice in who stayed or went the people decided by voting on the internet.

I don't want to spoil the story for you so I am not going to tell you any more.I found the characters well described and the book interesting until the end.  I think any age group would enjoy this book.
